Introducing Hayley
Hayley is the founder of The Forensic Experience and a former Forensic Practitioner (Crime Scene Investigator) with over 14 years’ experience working with the Metropolitan Police.
During her policing career, Hayley attended and examined a wide range of crime scenes, from volume crime through to serious investigations. Her role involved the careful identification, recovery and interpretation of forensic evidence including fingerprints, DNA and footwear marks, all while working under pressure and to the highest professional standards.
Today, Hayley brings that real-world expertise to life through immersive forensic events that are both educational and entertaining. What sets The Forensic Experience apart is authenticity. Every activity is rooted in genuine investigative processes, adapted so participants can understand not just what happens at a crime scene, but why it matters.

Making Forensics Accessible and Engaging
Hayley has a natural ability to adapt complex forensic concepts for different audiences. She works with:
- Adults and young people aged 12+, who investigate a staged murder scene using professional techniques such as fingerprint development, evidence analysis, DNA testing and suspect evaluation
- Children, who explore a carefully designed burglary scenario that encourages teamwork, problem-solving and curiosity in a fun, age-appropriate way
- Schools, colleges and universities, supporting curriculum learning through hands-on CSI workshops
- Community and interest groups, including Scouts, Guides, Brownies, Rangers, WI and ProBus groups
- Corporate teams, looking for engaging and memorable team-building experiences.
Hayley uses a highly realistic silicone body created by a local film studio, adding an extra layer of realism that truly brings investigations to life.
